4. Niihau (Diving).
One of the best parts about diving around Kauai is being so close to Niihau. Niihau is just off the coast and you will need to take a charter to it. Not only is it home to endangered species like the Hawaiian Monk Seal and even White Tip Sharks, but you will be able to experience some of the clearest waters anywhere. 5. Tunnels Beach (Snorkeling).
This is another option to consider if you are looking for one of the best snorkeling experiences on the island. This beach is best to visit during the summer months when the water is much calmer. During the winter, the beach experiences a lot of current and waves. This is another good option for those that are just getting started snorkeling and who might not have a lot of experience.
