Shadcom has only been creating content for a few months, but has already clocked up tens of thousands of hits on her videos, pastiching the characters which populate British life. Alongside her choir girl character, she also plays a broad northern pub singer, a cringey journalist and an ill-informed voter.

The acutely observed characters bring to mind the hilarious early series of British comedy classic Little Britain, a cast into which Sophie Shad could comfortably fit.
